Teach English in Cambodia for 3 Months
The Conversations With Foreigners (CWF) program in the city of Phnom Penh, Cambodia offers low-cost opportunities for travelers to live and teach English in Cambodia for 3 months at a time, and for Cambodian citizens to learn English by speaking with Cambodian visitors from other countries. All of the students have a basic understanding of English and many, but not all, are secondary and college students. Volunteers are not charged a fee, but they pay their own living, transportation, and other expenses. They can either arrange their own accommodations and meals or they can stay in shared-room accommodations at the program's Volunteer house and pay about $700 for 3 months, including meals.
The CWF program is a sustainable fundraising effort benefitting the Cambodian Rural Development Team (CRDT), a program established to improve food security, incomes, and living standards of poor rural communities in support of environmental conservation in Cambodia.
